Extended week end in the big apple
It’s always a pleasure to come to NY, even when the temperature is (really) rising above 30 celsius degrees. During the past months, all the conversations in the city were about the fucking recession. There are a few details that make me think that this idea is not in New Yorkers’ minds anymore.

The queue in front of Bape, for the opening of their Pirate store.

The queue in front of the Soho Apple store…with umbrellas for everybody to avoid sun burn !

Friday night was all about Carte Blanche.

With a punchy live from the sexy Kid Sister.

Saturday was time to recover at the beach…

…and at the nice pool at Polina and Julien’s Hamptons’ house.

Unforgettable place to watch USA vs Ghana

Way different trip on Sunday. Thanks to Julia and Al, I took part to a super friendly bus trip to the Aldrich Museum, where Brian was celebrating his first Museum solo show.

That picture makes me think that I have to give a big up to Julien for his trick to always have the perfect haircut.

The iPhone 4 front camera is my new favorite gadget. It’s perfect to take self portaits with friends. N’est ce pas Eric ?

Taking the pose with José

This is just mind blowing.

I have no words to describe that giant Accomplice.

Priceless.

Nous sommes tous de grands enfants.

Al aussi.

Todd aussi.

Moi surtout.

Back to the bus. Time for congratulations. His show is a killer.

Direction Tribeca for a nice dinner and party.

Monday, back to work, with a video interview for Nike & (RED). Thanks to Kyle and his team, all the homelesses from Forsyth street now reconize me and scream the Nike slogan when they see me walking throught the park!

While alone in New York, my friends are never really far.

My trip ended with a studio visit. According to Todd, Somali pirates and Suddan rebels will soon invade an art gallery in Copenhaguen.

Time to get back home.
