For a decade, we’ve been lucky enough to meet independent and passionate people, driven by creativity and who try to make things happen and push the game forward.
When we started thinking about our 10th birthday celebration, the idea was to make things with people we admire, people we respect, people we are friend with, but also people we wanted to support. The young French fashion brand Monsieur Lacenaire is part of those.
You have maybe not heard about Monsieur Lacenaire yet. Garance have started her knitwear brand almost a year ago. Her line is already sold in the best indie stores in the world. She learns quality from the best while she was working at Hermès years ago . Her products are all handmade with the finest yarns from around the world, produced in limited numbers, and are perfectly adapted to contemporary usage.
To celebrate La MJC 10th birthday, Monsieur Lacenaire created an amazing special version of its most famous piece, the Knitted Teddy. Made in Superfine Alpaca (a super thin and delicate yarn that provides softness and lightness) La MJC’s Knitted Teddy comes in an exclusive red/cream colorway, featuring wood buttons and an embroidered patch on the chest, which showcased our brand new anniversary crest logo.
Honestly, once you try it, you don’t leave it. The quality of the garment is insane, and makes it unique. People will maybe say it’s a bit pricey. But the craftmanship behind each product really worths it. We only made 25 pieces, only available at Cool Cats and colette.
