VICTORY.

Sunday July 18th will be a date that we will never forget. Thanks to Nike, we had the incredible chance to play football in the biggest stadium of the country, the legendary Stade de France, where Zidane won the first and only World Cup in France history.

After the urban soccer tournament we played two months ago, the Nike Paris City cup ended yesterday, with the same eight teams (La MJC, colette, Lazy Dog, Bkrw, Surface 2 Air, Street Machine, Pain O Chokolat, Youngunz) fighting for the trophy.

Guess who was inside the mascot ?

Andrea Crews cheerleaders.

La MJC’s youngest fan.

I guess this guy brought us luck.

The draw was cruel. We had to defeat colette team to pass the first round.

Semi final vs Lazy Dog. Congrats to Romuald and his team.

It was written. Us vs them. Again. This time on a real field, at Le Stade de France ! It was harder cause bkrw team played well and was the favourite.

What a stressful game. We used strategy: I let the field to my excellent partners who play way better than me and I screamed tactics and boosted my peeps from the side. I have to say that I kinda liked that Coach position!

Ariel stopped the ball at the best moment and gave us the victory !

My very first champagne shower!

HUGE big up to the whole La MJC team: Jean Baptiste, Ariel, Bahjet, Djamel, Nicolas, Joachim, Pierre Benoit, yours truly, Mehdi and Hugo. WE are the Champions !

This is how we do.

This is a message of hope for all my Dutch friends, Gee, Wix and Remco. Orange can win the final!

Thumbs up for Jessica and Kevin for the organization. From the first training sessions to the beautiful ending yesterday, that Paris City Cup was only about fun. We cross our fingers to play it again next year. We all thank you both.
