VICTORY.

IMG_1397
Sunday July 18th will be a date that we will never forget. Thanks to Nike, we had the incredible chance to play football in the biggest stadium of the country, the legendary Stade de France, where Zidane won the first and only World Cup in France history.

After the urban soccer tournament we played two months ago, the Nike Paris City cup ended yesterday, with the same eight teams (La MJC, colette, Lazy Dog, Bkrw, Surface 2 Air, Street Machine, Pain O Chokolat, Youngunz) fighting for the trophy.

I guess this guy brought us luck.

The draw was cruel. We had to defeat colette team to pass the first round.

Semi final vs Lazy Dog. Congrats to Romuald and his team.

It was written. Us vs them. Again. This time on a real field, at Le Stade de France ! It was harder cause bkrw team played well and was the favourite.

What a stressful game. We used strategy: I let the field to my excellent partners who play way better than me and I screamed tactics and boosted my peeps from the side. I have to say that I kinda liked that Coach position!

Ariel stopped the ball at the best moment and gave us the victory !

This is a message of hope for all my Dutch friends, Gee, Wix and Remco. Orange can win the final!

Thumbs up for Jessica and Kevin for the organization. From the first training sessions to the beautiful ending yesterday, that Paris City Cup was only about fun. We cross our fingers to play it again next year. We all thank you both.

14 Juillet

Few are the bank holidays I really appreciate. This year Bastille Day was pretty cool.

First, we all had dinner in my favorite japanese restaurant Koba, who let me shoot a portrait of him.

Tied Together.

A month ago, to support a beautiful cause I ran an hour in Paris streets with some friends. Representing La MJC, we were all dressed in black, only wearing red laces on our sneakers. Nike and (RED) partnered and made a commitment to fight HIV and Aids in Africa. Tied Together was a story about action inspiring reaction. A 120 hours relay race in New York, London, Milan, Berlin and Paris. It was not a competition, it was only fun. You should watch the video below…

Big up to all my team mates: Marco, Gabriel, Thomas, P-bar, Nico, Ariel, Amaury…and Pascal aka the survivor !

Cool Cats for Starter. The SMUT Cap

Smut01
Smut06
If you are familiar with Ed Rec records, you will probably remember the Ice T classic lyrics used by Feadz for his Hawaian Smut track. This punchline was so cool that So-Me decided to turn it into a Starter cap ! This second Starter collaboration for Cool Cats history is a limited edition of 120 pieces.

If you like it, it’s available HERE.
