Jamon, Sonar, Poulpo y ibiza
Last week end, the all five Cool Cats bloggers were in Barcelona with many friends for Sonar 2009 festival.
We were here to attend the very first live performance of SebastiAn, to celebrate BreakBot official record deal with Ed Rec, and of course, to enjoy calamaris, sangria, birds and music.

DSL had a great performance at Sonar de dia.

Did you ever see a DJ set on fire a 4000 people crowd in the late afternoon, while skating and eating Bellota Jamon all at the same time ? This guy did it.

The must have of Sonar de noche: a SebastiAn mask !

Breakbot got a long one.

Very long…

What ! ?

I was so happy to come back in Ibiza, 8 years after my last Club kid trip on the island.
Many things changed, but the great Balearic vibe is still here.

Can you have a better breakfast somewhere else than at Croissant-Show ? It used to be the hot spot for clubbing marathoniens. Now, it’s much more zen, they still have crazy sandwiches, yummy café con leche and they have….Wi-Fi !!!

Calamar a la plancha. My spanish favorite.

Yes, Ibiza changed a lot in the past 8 years. In place of the giant parking lot in front of Pacha, now stands a very confortable five Stars hotel.

I felt really nostalgic too, when we all get back to Space. This club was famous to be opened only in the morning, and to host the most infamous after parties on earth, with an epic 24/7 one, only on sundays. Even if the spanish government is not as permissive as it used to be, the kids still love the place.

After the storm, back to quiet. See ya Ibiza.
